This is a unique and really well written poem, Caroline, one that makes a great impact on the reader. It seems filled with deep psychological implications brought out by the fantasy like quality of the poem itself, and that nothing is real, yet it is. It certainly gets the reader to thinking and in that alone, it is a very impressive write. It's the kind of poem that readers don't forget easily. Carl.
