Well done, Brian. Let's have as more readers as possible. The very beginning of the poem is just optimistic. When you write a poem, though words are white hot, Though its message is crusted with ice, There will always be reader who's blest by the light, And the one who will thaw its advice.

Yes, poems should be written from heart. Keep writing dear poet, ignore consequence, Even if it's your tombstone you fashion, Steer the ship, honor muse, always try to pay rent, Let your words plumb the depth of your passion! - - - - Thanks for sharing this beautiful poem.
