close to ten, and i don't mean ten years old! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - i wonder if Valsa noticed and understood (the way i THINK i do) this part: Found me moving further down ..................oh, wait! maybe i misinterpreted that! i guess you were a little young (physically) to be moving where i thought you meant you were moving. so, i guess you were walking (crawling?) down towards the stage? how adorable. look at that little kid! what IS he up to? ? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - i really liked: Finding me like waves move shoreward, Searching, searching for a bay. and i COULD attach a sexual meaning here also, ............but i won't. :) (dirty old man that i am) - - - - - - - - - - - - did you REALLY propose marriage? ? ! if so, what was her answer? ? did you seek her out in later years? - - - - - - - Insensitive to lover's gift, Carelessly forgot the rule. you lost me there, above. what rule? who forgot it? lover's gift? All to soon the concert ended, ........... this contains the only typo i could find. darn! nice rhyming. this is one of your best poems, in my humble opinion. of course it's not the one i was searching for......... one you suggested to me yesterday. ok, at least 8 3/4 is my rating. thanks for sharing. she might be 88 years old now and THINKING OF YOU. I too had a 'love' when i was about that age, but she was the same age, you rascal! bri :)

Oh lovely poem Brian... did you actually fall in love with her music or her? At such a small age, probably you couldn't distinguish between the singer and the song.... For you both merged together! When art reaches its perfection, this demarcation often dies out! One thing I know for sure.... you were a lover of music and beauty from your early years and the symphony that flowed from her had been heavenly! !
