Ph: Love: Lost Loves Comments

Rating: 5.0

There must be a place, like an elephant bone-yard,
Where lost loves go to wait for a dance,
A place where perhaps they might not feel so lonely,
And can dream that they still have a chance.

Had there been a place like that, The lost loves would have been rescued. Could they share there sorrows and pains, Possibly may be a little lightened........ Wish that place is found one day For the lost lovers to console............................

Brian, I had never heard of this legend about elephants, it is unique as is your poem. Beautifully written, it gives some hope to those hoping to be reunited with a lost love. - A place where perhaps they might not feel so lonely, and can dream that they still have a chance - that line resonated within my mind - it's rhythm is stuck there with your words. I love it! Thank you, this was definitely a treat to my heart and mind. RoseAnn

If there exists such a place, I am sure it will be more populated than anyother place on Earth. There must be many who have found their love gone awry at one time or other in life..... What a wonderful rendezvous it would be and with what thrill and zest lost lovers will be heading towards that venue to have the bliss of being united with his/her lover! You have beautifully meshed together this idea with the elephant legend...! Thank you for your invitation to read this great write!

A beautifully-expressed poem. It brings to the surface the sad feelings about love gone awry. In our hopelessness, we find hope... and our tears serve a new purpose. In denying love is dead, we keep it alive. And who knows, it may just be in a coma - there may still be hope.

If there is such a place, I would gladly like another chance to dance with a lost love. A glimmer of hope, you provide, that love awaits throughout all time. Lovely! PEACE
