No Ed, more like an enigma within an enigma. Don't you recognize the story of the prodigal sister? Lora is the sister that ran away from home (Dad's favorite?) and I am the the son who stayed home and did all the grunt work (Dad's fool) and in spite of my fealty, wound up being jealous of my sister's homecoming party. Wow! You and Merov! You may think I'm kidding, but I love you both! I actually like both of your interpretations on this poem. Isn't imagination/poetry fun? Here we have three different perspectives on the same poem and they are all right!

Hi Ed, It seems I am just too simple for your enigmatic mind. : -) What I mean to imply by calling myself God's fool, is that to the best of my ability, all of the time, I will defend the God of Love, even if I can't understand His perspective. There is simply no possibility in my poor mind that He could be wrong, ergo I am God's fool! QED

Lora loves the poem - she thanks you. (I know because she and I are best friends - she tells me everything)
