Fantastic poem. Very educative words arranged in beautiful style. And it's not just in loving a woman you grow Sometimes love's greatest gift might be letting her go Perhaps dream that she has you can't see as a goal Or a burden relationship puts on your nature Is it selfishness that you respect your own soul Or that you can find solace in her new adventure? I like this stanza because of the advise and the truth it reveals. There are many a time that society exerts so much pressure on us, to the extent that we get no room to make choice that satisfies our hearts, but are compelled to make decisions to impress people around us. Especially when it come to choosing between those we love and those society see as befitting us. I am particularly relieved that sometimes, letting go is also a means of expressing our love to others. Indeed, only a man of Brian's age will know this. ha! (JOKe) Thou the decision may be difficult to make, I believe its still better to be real than to pretend to be who you are not. Very inspiring and educative poem. Great poem.....keep writing sir!
