Of all the gifts, that you have mentioned, I particularly love the following two, the one on the friend who extends his hand when all others desert ' The friend who stands by you when all have left, Unexpectedly present when futures fail, Puts his hand on your shoulder when you're bereft, Oh, the warmth that assures you that he'll not quail. Again the letter from the former lover with assurance of love at a time when all hopes were blotted out 'A sweet letter that comes from a love once lost Can still channel cool water to desert's gate, Makes a lie ‘must defend love at any cost, ' Shouts that ‘true love abounds if just people wait.' Enjoyed the poem altogether!
