To peal life’s onion also tears......peal or peel? i've heard of bell peppers, but not bell onions. but i've heard of pearl onions; they are found inside oysters. NO, not Rocky Mountain Oysters; those things are sperm. Origin early 16th century: of unknown origin. ========================================= Forget rhyming! not too useful in this one, though i love your rhyming sometimes. :) i have some good friends with whom i'd never use the term love or lover, in referring to them. i've felt love for quite a few women, including my mom and daughter; with the latter two it was only Platonic! with the former, i had friendships at first usually, and even had friendship sometimes after the love was lost. ================= good friends vs. lovers? ? i wouldn't want to live my life without both, preferably both my whole life through, but that is a bit too much to ask, it seems! i wouldn't mind finding some of my good (female) friends under the covers tonight, but they would have to leave before the home boss came to bed! ! ! ! bri) :)
