Ph: Haiku: Video Gamester's Heaven Comments

I have always experienced difficulty in decoding haikus to my compete understanding, though I know haikus are meant to be dense and not easily understood. This particular one, written in highly metaphorical language, is clearly one that appeals to me, as the poet compares himself to a token in a video game. He, in this case, compares life to an arcade game in which God is the ultimate controller. He however states that, all points which are valuable and increases his lifespan, as well as those that help him to survive the harsh conditions of the game of life, are all all in the hands of God. This is indeed a well written poem which seeks to preach the truth about life, that our success depends on God and not our rush in life. This message is similar to Shakespeare's All the world's stage.... Good write!
