oh, yeah, Descartes, the philosopher, mathematician, and (gee, there was something else i read just now online describing him) . and HE said cogito ergo sum! AND it is written that He refused to accept the authority of previous philosophers and also refused to accept the obviousness of his own senses. could THOSE things be why BJ likens himself to this Frenchman (1596-1650) ? i don't believe you! i think you made up the story about 'on stage'. it is obviously some of the garbage you warned about in the beginning! ha ha. but a good story nonetheless. nice rhyming, though i think it may have caused a few small areas of the poem to suffer. luckily those areas were not at the ending. it is nice enough and different enough to go to MyPoemList, but DON'T let your head swell up any more than it already is! please! ! ! ! thanks for sharing. :) bri
