Petulant. Intolerable And Defiant Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Petulant. Intolerable And Defiant

This is not a judgement to pass.
This is an observation.
And not hidden to disguise.
Or come as a surprise.
By those victimized.

Many children spoiled from birth.
Wealthy and rich.
Yet lack discipline to get.
Raised to value opulence.
And a love for decadence.
Are given toys.
To ultimately destroy them.
With new ones to do,
The same thing too!
Until this doing,
Becomes approved to know it.

But as this child grows,
To appear as an adult.
Few suspect,
This child becomes skilled...
At manipulating others at will.
With status to have it.
And wealth not to have earned.
To fraud as a game played to learn.

Yet...
Accustomed to destruction.
Accustomed to destroy.
With a loving to annoy.

This child,
Dressed to impress.
In adult clothes grows,
Older.
But not a sign of growing up!
Remaining destructive.
Remaining petulant.
Insolent.
Intolerable and defiant!

"Why?
Do the people,
Continue...
To put up with this,
B.S."

-It's...
The image.
And the wealth.
Done to do,
For the ones believing...
They've been born entitled,
To do as they please.
As 'deities'.

"The image and wealth of what? "

-The presentation,
That represents...
The keeping of their kept delusions.-

"To destroy? "

-And...
Don't forget.
A doing of it to make better again.-

"For who? "

-Not for you.
How obvious can an observation be? -

"But...
They are not gods."

-Mother Nature has been trying for years.
Decades and centuries gone,
To have all of them...
The rich, the poor and everyone.
To get that message.
But money to have it,
Has become a difficult opponent to defeat.-

"So what about God? "

-Mother Nature believes,
God is too forgiving.
Rumor has it,
She was the one that told God...
'You spare the rod,
You will spoil that child'.
