Petty Knows Best Poem by aric wilsie

Petty Knows Best

</>The future is wide open.
But can’t you see?
No, not with a star filled eye
And your left hand eclipsing the other.
The value was always substantial.
As it was anyway…
It was just measured upon different scales.
And now…
Waiting to launch.
Again…
So to you, I appear funny.
Standing still...
Which I find amusing.
Because it seems to me…
A blind body,
Cannot see the minds horizon.
