I remember the first day
When our honeymoon hour finally
Turned into fighting, greatly
Shattering me complete, as why
He turned me down, despite what we enjoy
For days together consoling, soul bittery
Heart never ready to accept, hostility
Only trusting its very love truly
Clinging to love's positivity
She hoped reunion again someday.
Amidst all doubt and fear abundantly
Choosing to trust love boldly
And expecting to win back emotionally
Deepening bonds that are vividly
Starred to shine brilliantly
That was the feel of waiting deligently
For a love I nurtured cordially
Working miracles permanently
As seed of love roots firmly
Transcending us completely.
