Persephone, Rise From The Dark. Poem by Micron Jan

Persephone, Rise From The Dark.

In shadows deep, she cries for light,
A world above, so far away,
With every tear, she dreams of bright,
The sunlit fields where children play.

A whisper calls, the winds do sway,
Her heart beats strong, she won't forget,
A symbol of hope and rebirth,
The snowdrop emerged, no more regret.

Oh, Persephone, rise from the dark,
The petals white, they dance and glow,
Through winter's chill, you'll leave your mark,
With every bloom, we feel you grow.

In Hades' arms, she finds her fight,
The depths of night can't steal her spark,
Each passing season brings the light,
A promise held in shadows stark.

A whisper calls, the winds do sway,
Her heart beats strong, she won't forget,
A symbol of hope and rebirth,
The snowdrop emerged, no more regret.

Oh, Persephone, rise from the dark,
The petals white, they dance and glow,
Through winter's chill, you'll leave your mark,
With every bloom, we feel you grow.

So here we stand, as springtime sings,
With open arms, we greet the day,
The cycle spins, new life it brings,
In your return, our hearts will stay.
