Perpetual Imprints Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Perpetual Imprints

Rating: 5.0

We build sandcastles
With the hands of children
Grains of sand
Imprinted
On the minds
Of children
We build castles
With the hands of men
Walls of brick
Imprinted
On the minds
Of great men
We build prisons
With the hands of robots
Houses of pain
Cemented
On the minds
Of poor men
Once children
We build love
With the hands of God
Family of Man
Imprinted
On the minds
Of angels

And for as long as we can hear that echo, there will be hope for a better world. Many thanks, Rebecca for your enthusiastically positive response.
