Perfection Has Never Been Defined Poem by Kenneth Maswabi

Perfection Has Never Been Defined

Today I saw perfection in the eye
I was not bothered by my imperfect make up
I was probably not thinking
I was inside the awesome moment
Everything was so perfect
I failed to spot an imperfection
I became the author of this perfect moment
Even though I was probably not allowed to stare
I had trespassed into the sacred moment
Where eyes are not fully accountable
For the contents of their looking
Something magical took over the faculty of sight
A perfect moment is so imperfect
Because the contents of its perfection
Are unreachable
Just adored from afar
This is the definition of perfection
