What if I wrote a poem of elegance
It could be a song,
And the song was so beautiful;
Everybody would sing along.
What if everybody in the world was happy;
No one was sad.
All people were good;
Nobody was bad.
What if no one was weary;
With their head hung down.
No one was grumpy;
Walking around with a frown.
What if no one saw the color of people;
Everybody saw the same.
What if there were no losers.
Everybody won the game.
What if there were no haters;
Everybody rejoiced with you.
What if there was no,
BIG I and little you.
What if there was no death;
Everybody lived forever,
Those who were sick;
Only got better.
What if there was only love;
And no hate.
Everybody was perfect,
No one made mistakes.
What if everybody in the world
Stood hand-in-hand;
There were no wars;
Only peace in the land.
