Hey, Suzanne! After the Rock and Shakespeare rolled into one, I was curious. I find the third stanza particularly interesting. My wife has expressed disappointment at times I didn’t infer her feelings/desires better. But I wonder at this expectation when women are generally the more verbal of our species. Please explain. -Glen
The short answer to that is that my husband has lived with me long enough to know which battles are worth fighting and when I have gotten that look in my eye that tells him I have dug trenches and fortified my defenses and am prepared to pour boiling oil over my walls and it is best just to cede the field.
