Perfect Example Of Love

Thank You heavenly Father
For Your perfect example of love
Not from one born on this earth
But from One that came from above
Who left His glorious heaven
And descended for our need
To deal with sin as our Saviour
Such a loving God indeed

You did not leave us to wallow in mire
But up from our dust born birth
You offered us an eternal hope
Through the placement of "new birth"
And in Jesus Christ Our righteousness
We can be cleansed from sin
And enjoy the removal of its power
By the Spirit dwelling within

And live a life as "new born babes"
Children of a heavenly King
Seeking to do the will of the Father
Giving thanks in everything
Trusting in His saving grace
With faith as our victory
We shall rise in Resurrection power
Enjoying eternal liberty

Listen to the story of Jesus
Who took God's wrath for our sin
And shed His blood... His precious blood
That sinner's may come in
And find a safe haven of rest
Much to their soul's satisfaction
He alone yes He alone
Is capable of such a transaction

Repentance is your admission friend
Humble yourself in God's sight
Become as a child with believing faith
He will make everything right
Draw a little nearer now... Nearer, nearer come
Seek ye first the kingdom of God
And forever live with that One!
