i like the alliteration " delicate defiance" although it defies my desire to understand its meaning. yes, SOFT, and white, pink, and red. to MyPoemList :) bri speaking of moms, my mom, nearly 55 years ago, used to have lovely (aren't they all) peony 'bushes' near our side porch.
