A pendulum is oscillating from one point to another,
at times it halts,
but for most of the time it oscillates.
A middle-class man is oscillating between richness and poverty,
at times he halts too in the middle,
but for most of the time he oscillates.
Oscillation has become his habit.
He witnessed his parents' oscillation-
their life struggle and
took part in it.
They fought, are fighting, will fight...
Victory will make them rich
but failure will make them poor.
Their perseverance, moral courage, conservative nature and education
made them distinguished and dignified.
Overcoming the oscillating episodes
the pendulum will stop at the right-most positive point-
he hopes so.
A wonderful poem on life. Perceptive lines worth to ponder about.
The poem thoughtfully tries to explore some hard facts and realities of life which we all encounter every now and then and draw our inferences with a focus on family. You have rightly said- A middle-class man is oscillating between richness and poverty. Thanks.
