Very gratefully, I've avoided the type of men so wonderfully described in your poem I love all the excellent references to mythology in the second paragraph. The Waterlily Pond with the Japanese Bridge by Monet is one of my favorite paintings. His paintings are pretty. Excellent imagery in the 4th stanza, I could really see the creepy men in the smoke filled room. And the last two lines 'To think you filled me up To the point of empty' express so much hope and sadness 'And Aphrodite sould...' Typo - should? 'Or atleast the...' another typo?
