Keep your mind on the prize ahead and never let it leave your sight..... the most outstanding line in the poem! This advice is equally applicable to young students under peer pressure and grown ups! No journey will be successfull without a clear idea of the destination to be reached! A sound advice full of wordly wisdom! !

Very similar in theme to my poem' History Lesson.' It is sad that in our society the young have become lost and are torn too many ways to stay on track too many distractions. It is much harder for the youngsters of today than when I was young.. A very well written thought provoking poem.10/10 Thanks for sharing BB : O)
