you was taught very young that an education you must get, and by continuing this path your future will be set.
Keep your mind on the prize ahead and never let it leave your sight..... the most outstanding line in the poem! This advice is equally applicable to young students under peer pressure and grown ups! No journey will be successfull without a clear idea of the destination to be reached! A sound advice full of wordly wisdom! !

hahaha....a very fatherly advice.....since generations, every parent has been saying this n every child has been doing this......its all in the age Sir...this peer group etc will vanish as soon as they come out of school n start realsing their responsibilities...wat i feel is both has to be balanced, there has to be friends to socilaise with withut losing focus on education........a very excellent write..enjoyed reading
Very similar in theme to my poem' History Lesson.' It is sad that in our society the young have become lost and are torn too many ways to stay on track too many distractions. It is much harder for the youngsters of today than when I was young.. A very well written thought provoking poem.10/10 Thanks for sharing BB : O)
