Pedestrian Plight

Pedestrian Plight

foot soldiers - the.silent majority
they, with motorists, have no parity
roads are out of bounds
footpaths none has.found
stay at home- the message has clarity

foot-paths, FOB, if, to ask, is one's stance
men who matter, turn askance
on roads, as kids and aged, die
in wilderness, rest cry
pedestrians gamble and live, by chance

Collins English Dictionary
The foot soldiers of a particular organization are people who seem unimportant and who do not have a high position but who do a large amount of very important and often very boring work.
In the present scheme of things, pedestrians are not important.
FOB: foot over bridge (a safe sky walk to cross the road)
