Bringing me back to where i am
My dream now lost in my mind
I'm awake as I'll ever be

Lovely poem. There many pleasant and beautiful things that we notice when we are alone. It makes the whole experience of being alone satisfying.
Yeah, loneliness can give a very sublime peace to the mind.I like it too.
Marvelous depiction- - -So many beautiful things to discover in silence when one is solely with oneself ! ! Congratulations for being poet of the day ! !
Being alone can be great at times. Loneliness is a feeling, not a condition. You have expressed it well. Congratulations on having it selected as poem of the day!
Awesome poem....Congrats for the poem of the day. Thanks for sharing
/They giggle, leaving a shadow of innocent laughter/ This lovely line touches me. It points by not pointing to rude forces that are really at play. It reminds us that worthwhile things are so fragile, yet they are tenacious in their way. They must be, because the golden silence lets them stretch longer.
Being alone is a privilege. Not that I want it all the time. Nice work.
the sobriety which loneliness affords is very delighting. A good poem. Congrats Leah!
The beauty of silence with it's motley views wonderfully unfolded. Thanks for sharing.10 points.
Silence is divine, silence is supreme, silence is to be experienced a good poem
very nice poem, something I could identify with completely! Congrats on being poet of the day!
I walk through my front door Home again, The silence has never been so golden...................... Enough to conquer the heaven. Excellent.
I love this poem. It's rich in imagery and message as well. Only when we are comfortable in our own skin, able to be alone with ourselves, that we discover amazingly that 'aloneness' isn't so bad after all. Solitude and the space to feel ourselves in our own world of beauty is a true gift and well expressed here.
The silence has never been so golden probably never will either, golden indeed...John
There is a certain satisfaction in solitude especially when it feels like you are constantly living in an over crowded world of sound and the fury of people around you. Sad but also embracing a state of the human condition.
