The dream of peace cannot,
must never be written out of our souls,
the freedom to learn to love to live life;
to enjoy textured multi layered diversity,
to embrace precious gift diversity individuality
in all cultures countries with tolerant harmony;
to celebrate the miracle sacred gift of life,
to elevate all people into beautified prosperity;
with kindness happiness
understanding sown into all lives,
is beauty on earth personified;
because the dream of an eternity
of peace upon this lifeblood earth,
must be a sanctified global goal;
realized upon a future earth blessed
by all citizens all life sharing humanity,
behold will we achieve our birthright peace.
...Thank you so much for past now n future, it brings me lot of things, remembering your kindness, if u forget... When i was criticized here... Because of u, one of the reasons i keep continuing this effort, to write. I believe our minds of this issue is unified. We talked a lot in the past about freedom... We even have our poem together! . Thanks Terry for everything!
I wrote the poems 'Peace Has Been Hijacked' and 'Peace Songs Are Important', inspired by my reply to a beautiful heartfelt comment on my poem 'Peace A Sanctified Global Goal', by the poet Unwritten Soul and dedicated to Unwritten Soul.
p2Freedom, peace, anti war poems will always be written in my heart. These anti-war protest or issues in defense of truth or the poor poems are important.
p1I somehow missed your replies earlier, sorry for the delay in a response. I also was criticized here when happily writing university style summaries of poems so I rarely comment now.
A blessing to me, firstly because i saw your words after so many years... Its like a good reunion. Im glad you always here. Second, you are always encourage me since the beginning of my days, writing. I hope Kayla and Rachel also learned a lot from their talented father... You.
I left for awhile tired of too many antiwar and peace poems deactivated. Kayla and Rachel are presently doing well. Kayla is half way through a degree in communications at Canturbury University. Rachael is a year and a half from graduating High School so I am relieved.
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
