Pavlov's Dog Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Pavlov's Dog

Rating: 5.0

I am sick of yr requests
Cooking, cleaning and taking care of the kids
You go to work in the morning
Then come home expecting everything ready
In the evening, you sit on yr butt
Watching the Leafs lose again as you ask for another beer
And I put up with it
You don't care that I am tired of this life
And would like to be someone creative
When I ask if I can earn some money by starting a business
You say NO!
I want to explore my abilites, I explain
Then, we get into a big rowdy discussion
And I decide I have had enough
Tell you I'm leaving for a while
Then you produce a diamond bracelet and flowers
And a date to paint the town red
I come back with my tongue wagging
Like Pavlov's Dog
