Paul Bunyan And Blue Poem by Ima Ryma

Paul Bunyan And Blue

Paul Bunyan, giant lumberjack
With just a single swing of axe
Could chop whole forests forth and back.
The Great Plains came from Paul's attacks.
Once in a frigid snowstorm, Paul
Did find a huge frozen ox who
Paul did thaw out from the ice all,
And then did name his new friend, Blue.
When Blue found out Paul cut down trees,
About this she was quite concerned.
'We need trees, ' she told Paul, 'So please, '
'Saving trees is a lesson learned.'

Paul agreed and now the two be
Giant friends to every tree.
