Patrick Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Patrick

You are like a sword among the thorns and,
You are like a monkey among bananas!
So, why do jump from place to place?

When will you come to understanding?
And, when will you come to the truth?
A touch down to my lovers home;
And with the steps of fear to think twice.

Patrick! You are not straight forward to me;
Like the rate of the pieces of cigarettte everywhere.
How can one smoke all day long like this?
Patrick, you are not straight forward to me;
You've been decieving everyone but now,
You are caught in the very net of your trap.

Paris tell it all and,
Your life underground is what i like to know;
For you look only very handsome on the surface.
Why can't you let us see who you are?
And, are you afraid of yourself? !
