You pen a whole lot of wisdom in this thoughtful piece. Though perhaps you could break up the lines a bit though, to make it read more like a poem and less like a piece of prose. You make your own path in life, Like it or not it's the path you are choosing to walk on. If you don't like it get off and start a new one.
