Past Uncovered Poem by michael Smajda

Past Uncovered

Empty lots became houses
After World War II.
Autos took over our streets
From Mckee to Grape Avenue.

They ended our sports playing,
Winter sled riding, as well.
These things we did as youngsters-
Most noteworthy ones, I unveil.
