Phase 1.
Alone I was at that time, when I arrived in a womb,
Getting mature, as time was passing by –
I had a shape of a human being! !

The phases of life described in this poem give a practical pose of one's life.
This is a heart-warming piece of poetry and many readers can relate to it. You have presented detailed and beautifully the five phases of your life; let us hope that the sixth one will be filled with hope and joy again. Blessings
True, bereavement is a reality in our life but may that be an intermission, to an existence by sharing the pain and pleasures of those in real need. The past bliss and sharing of love, of course we can relish in vacant moments of Our life. Sir sir well presented. Thanks.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful poem with us. But, Sur-ji, no one is alone; so please brave.
This is really a beautiful poem and so filled with good details. From conception to birth. Could not have been stated better. Then pain and sorrow came and changed it all! Still there is a chance. Very good write.
Things went smoothly through Phase 3 and then happened what should not have happened. Those living must pass through all phases how unbearable some phases may be. Poetry is one resource to express the agony.
Two women play a very important role in one's life one is the mother and the other is a wife. Having lost one or both creates a vacuum. Being helpless one should try to fill this vacuum as much as it is possible. In another poem Amitava has himself written that he is hopeful of a life in heaven with the lost loved ones. Let this candle of hope fill the vacuum of your life. Amitava it's a heart touching poem..................10
So beautifully expressed. And I felt sadness reading these words. Yet it is time to take a new path.. there is still so much happiness out there for you. Do not think about it and it will knock on your door. Just crank the stereo up and smile and in time your heart will smile.
Such a heart wrenching poem in the end, Amitava, I found myself crying! You have touched upon the deepest sorrows this life can hold and so emotionally gifted them all with your heartfelt words. All the joy once felt when everyone was alive is now gone, life is like a ghost town that you wander through alone. This is such a poignant poem, it has struck my mind and heart very deeply indeed. You and I have talked so much about these things together, my heart is like yours, we are one in sorrow. Yet we are still living and somehow must make the best of whatever time we have left. Being with our families and friends, giving our love to them, knowing that our passing will have the same devastating effects on them also. Give them memories of joy to hold within their hearts, for the time will come when that is all they will have left of us too. This is the most perfect poem on life that I have read to date. Thank you for sharing it. RoseAnn
