Love the sentiment of this poem. I can remember nights like that when I was working in a pub in South Wales. We had couple of Irish families in the village and the weekends were always happy and full of song. 10+

Being Irish of course i love this poem. Though it feels more like a song. A lively song that makes me want to leap up and dance a jig across the kitchen floor. Oh Lordy and i have not even had a drink.Good one Richard
That's the kind of feedback that's motivating me to turn it into a great song. And especially, coming from someone who is Irish! Thank you so very much, Norah.
I love the great rhyming and you have captured the fun and excitement of St Patrick's Day with the beer flowing, dancing and romancing! Very well written Richard!
Thank you so much for your very positive feedback, Hazel. It was fun to write. And now, it's gonna be fun to record.
This is lovely, ceremoniously rich in tone. Your diction is embellished in beautiful rhyme and rhythm. Am a novice when it comes to music, but I know a good song when I see one. I sincerely which to listen to music version of the poem. A well drafted and elegantly composed piece. Thanks for sharing Richard and do remain blessed.

Gay, jovial display of the joie de vivre Seem to me, Guinness beer, Has quite an interest in this celebration and you should be paid, adequate compensation, For this beery nice, St. Patrick's adulation. You also included, Many other 'fiestas', By now you must need, a very good 'siesta' I really enjoyed this and its festive mood, It should have been read by all celebrants It was that good!
Hi, Sandra. Love your poetic response. And your glowing review. It means a lot to me because a considerable amount of time and money is being invested in this project. Thanks again!
Richard, I'm looking forward to the music! I think you should record this, and post an audio. Reminds of some of Rick Nelson's work....A 10.
Thanks, M.J. I got a really good feeling about this song-to-be. I can see the connection to Rick Nelson, but I'm thinking maybe Great Big Sea or Irish Rovers. What do you think?
Remiinds me of the song TIMES OF YOUR LIFE popularized by PAUL ANKA... I hope to see all your compositions transformed into songs......
