Party Dogs Poem by Kevin Patrick

Party Dogs

Rating: 5.0

Their hustling for dogmas like a needle and a spoon
Shooting up their treaties, snorting sectarian fumes
Blood pumping to the beat of diatribes and rehtoric
The Hypnotizing, trance of the despots stashed euphoric
Obsequious degenerates, perverted gimp confederates
On their knees for money shots, giving head to states

Working hard to play to the rabid scheamers games
Junkies for polemics getting wasted every day
Subscribing to their tribes that sell their favorite lies
Rabid toadies toting reverence with foam and bloodshot eyes
Bugging out eight to 6 looking for their perfect fix
The Partisan crackheads spewing off their soapbox kicks

Hungry junkies working games, morning to midnight
Feeding a broken system that chews the best and bright
Peddlers and Backbenchers, playing dirty tricks
Dancing to the maelstrom of the body politic
Campaigns with champaign, turkeys on the gravey train
Check out on the detox, cruising for the brain drain

Living for the Clubbing of the mob flames Full throttle
Always looking to play to the spin doctors bottle
Soundbite Parasites, peddling seven days a week
Praying to big brother and the laws of double speak
when your selling your soul Looking for a score
Then your ready to dance on the nations killing floor.

So Turn off your thinking
And do you leaders Drinking
If your morals can't recover
Your the fall guy that's Hungover

An inebriated Clog
Just a party dog

A very incisive and thought provoking poem that expresses in detail the corrupt practices of political leaders.
