All friends depart

The hour passeth my way too
when many friends once loving and true
passeth this way into oblivion
earlier than they should have taken to heaven

all those who are seeded by love and lust of parents
are blessed to be taken away some day
so don't grieve this way
you too will pass away
some day
one day
even if not today

till then between heaven and hell
with them do play
let friends pass away
for no power within you
can seek them to stay

so friend
let friends pass away
in solace piece by piece
so do the heavenly stars do say
soon each one of you
must come the milky pathway
for indefinitely
finally to stay

so pray all friends pass away
when they have to
so that they can await
for you too
