Part Of The Human Race Poem by Dianna Nally

Behind every man there is a good woman
But if he's really good he can walk at her side.
Because no one, male or female should
ever have to walk behind.

Today we walk arm in arm
And some walk hand in hand.
Because there is no one better then another
Not a woman, a child, or a man.

It makes me feel good when someone opens my door
But I've done the same for them.
My husband has manners, and he waits till I sit
And sometimes I wait for him.

We can all vote, and we like to watch sports
in fact, we even play a few.
And believe it or not, a few men have even
asked us for reviews.



I guess what I'm trying to say is that
this world has become a better place.
Because together we have broken the barriers
And are all excepted as part of the human race
