Paris Summit, russia -Ukraine war, A Paradox. Poem by Nabakishore Dash

Thanks to Nation heads
who took part in the Paris
summit for climate change
to limit human induced warming
in Earth's atmosphere.
Ongoing Russia-Ukraine war,
attacks and counter attacks therein,
firing, bombardments, burning
of oil depots are antagonistic
and paradoxical events that
enhance world temperature.

There is no disease greater than
lust and desire to become
undisputed leaders,
no fire greater than anger
which have contributed to
genocide,
creation of millions of fugitives,
a devastated Ukraine
converting it to a crime field
and this pernicious war.
Is there any greater bliss than peace?
Hope leaders would come together
to bring wars to an end,
welcome peace and love
to reduce friction to a fraction
and salvage globe
from doomsday and
imminent danger.
