A good poem to read and ponder on

Beautifully expressed poem of life’s movements. Life seems to contain many layers of parallel worlds within itself. Though we live together, all of us contain a world of our own, moving side by side with the world of others. Time seems to be a uniting factor giving the perception of merging lives at a certain point of time still each life holds a distinct place of its own. Congratulations for a much deserved member poem place.

Though they will never touch each other, they are always together... I think we can learn about it a lot, how close we are to others we still have to give then space and never think that if we are close enough we can cross the line. See the irony of perpendicular, the has overlapped point but at the end two lines distancing each other infinitely. So i would say, parallel is symbol of respect... You provoke my thoughts...thanks! Here, around me, all seen things moving on own ways there, beyond of my sight all unseen things moving also on own ways same time different places occurring same events or different events but the points of the life are drawing the lines in same time all over the world equidistant side by side line by line either face to face or back to back but no stoppage in occurring there are......

Parallel lines never meet but they share their views and emotionally attach like parallel lives. They never meet in curve or on in straight path but they ever beautify their own ways. A nice poem is chosen as the Poem of the Day. Congratulations! Congratulations!

Parallel lines Move equidistant from each other, Under all circumstances, ............. Wealth to poverty, man to women, black to white, we all live parallel to one another at some point, never intersecting the way we could, but we can learn to be equal with on another so we may meet along the vanishing point. A thoughtful and meditative work well chosen for poem of the day.

Cont.. If we end up leading parallel lives instead of a life together, it will consequently lead to emotional distance and lack of connection.will take its toll on the family relationship.

Cont.. However, with respect to family relations, parallel lives, I think will, contribute to the severance of the matrimony or the family relationships. In a family, especially spouses, there must sharing of lives, moments and experiences to strengthen the bond of the family.

I concur with the wonderful comments of Poetess Valsa. In my humble opinion, the wisdom in parallel lives could be best applied in a corporate world where there is a common purpose yet such purpose is achieved by many hands and minds together putting their own expertise on their respective field of endeavor.
