Where is paradise friend
someone asked
a masked poet like me
replied

Where else!

The winding path to paradise
you are welcome to paradise
where human angels
as you know reside
I ain't an angel
but a simple poet of peace
who upon souls of human kind
adoration, appreciation only preach

peace be with all of us
who slog in the middle of nights
in search of solace
comforting words
the world with which to preach

darkness lightens
dreams awaken
and
many an imaginations
are born to poets
who seem to be forlorn
as the morning breeze beckons 'em

Come the sunrise is due
where's the poem
now which
from you is due
