Panegyric To Passion Poem by Bryan Taplits

Panegyric To Passion

Golden days have passed me
I've made my leaps-
And broken every moral law.
But know I still love
and need you
And "Why? "
Because….Because.

My soul rises past-
and passes
Shimmies up me after my fall,
And why is this?
I be requited such bliss?
Because…. Because.

Such redemption is
unwarranted
To me-a man of flaws,
But it's found me none-the-less
(Though I'm flayed by it's embrace) .
And "Why? "
Because….Because.
