Of an unforeseen tomorrow
we all forget
life is cyclic
dread the current
Covid 19
did they also not worry
of Spanish Flu
in 1918
many vanished
millions became victims of TB
yet for over a 100 years
we still live
with TB Cancer
AIDS and HIV/STD'S
millennia has lapsed
haven't found a panacea
to fight any or all disease
nor will we ever be
all hope some day
some human god may
evolve into another
pragmatic one to say
don't Pray
don't fall prey
to times
''cylocisms''
can anyone say
what awaits us
some day
another day
if not today
The Corona Virus
has come for ever to stay
humans systems will develop
anti bodies within each
you while living also may
we have always so achieved
why now not believe
will face the Virus
soonly
without a mask maybe
also six feet distance
need be abolished
we can't a avoidbirth
of newer generation
or ever abolish
a Novo cast of humans
will come
sex cannot ever be undone
Very true words. A season of new hopes awaits. New sun will definitely rise and a new horizon will allure us again. So do dream. A hopeful poetry reflecting from past experience and looking forward for a better new one. Thank-you for sharing.
Dear yeps poet, it is a really profound poem. It is well written.

Very true. Diseases come and go. We need to spend money on anticipating these problems through computer modelling etc. We foolishly spend money on war.
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
I would like to translate this poem
You have given an overview of the endemics and pandemics that the world has seen and studied for one millennia in general and over the last one hundred years or so in particular. Very analytical and realistic. Thanks. I would like to quote: millennia has lapsed / haven't found a panacea to fight any or all disease / nor will we ever be
