A very interesting story you have narrated! The limerick form chosen is ideal here, Palmistry is all eye wash....! To earn a living, people don many guises. Many are fooled by by the so called prophets and 'seers of future'. On the roadside, some make money with a parrot and tarot cards. However it is a pity that even the most educated people fall into the gimmicks of the so called fortune tellers!

The poet has used limerick form quite prudently.
