Paint My Love Poem by RATIKANTA SAMAL

Paint My Love

Colourless but a piece of glossy paper
Swims across strong water current;
Hoping to be colourful myself with you
To paint me a rainbow, God has sent.

Touch of soft fingertips electrifies
Overflows on the barren and sandy beach;
Makes me an oasis in your love
Each time I smile before jingle's reach.

Intend your paint of love on the canvas
The rain of smile will sing its own song;
The curtain of flowers will be covered
By the overhead branches stretching long.

The giggle of your lips might bring
The warmth in the cold winter night;
The dreamy night begs for long
Extending the sunrise's illusive sight.
