Life reduced to nothing But nothing besmirched And looked upon Like a piece of dirt.Impact of besmirching. Lies are a sort of plugging the flow of peace and love of the victim. Very good poem on a sensitive issue

Two opposing duals dancing make the essence of life. Perhaps, to take this truth in our stride is what living a life is all about. But a poet has a delicate heart and his pain is well brought out by this poem.

Goodness and evil coexist. So do truth and lies. There are always people who try to smother us with false accusations and lies! If our conscience is clear, we can just scoff such slanderers. You have powerfully expressed your moral indignation here. Also exposed the ugly face of some people who find sadistic pleasure in defaming others.

To tell a lie is a great sin. It is wrong. It causes great suffering and bondage.

Telling lies is a human pastime. It is common knowledge that we all engage in this, so much so that Mark Twain quipped that “a man is never more truthful than when he acknowledges himself a liar.”

Very powerful poetry about dishonesty..I must quote: - " Act like a hammer Left you battered And life totally shattered Prosecuted with the bang Of a gavel And caged in a metal box On account of the lies They had deeply sworn" Thanks..👍

Raw with rage, and razor sharp with insight, there are many people hidden behind institutions of truth where they are allowed to commit their treachery. A fantastic poem Rosa, your given a voice to the worlds injustice, we need a voice like yours.

Perhaps life is itself a lie and that is why it is painful.
