The pain is back,
Like a dagger in my spine.
The more I move about,
The more it submerges.
I smile and laugh as nothing is wrong,
I only act normal so I don't worry mom.
The pain at time can be so bad I can't move,
So I stay in bed and say I'm tired to keep my cool.
I've learned to welcome it,
Seems like the only thing I can do.
There's pain medicine that will kill it in no time,
I'm not risking the chances for, it will blow away in time.
Pain seems to be my love in life,
For it stays by me, day and night.
With all thats said I think you understand,
Pain is pretty much a part of who I am.
