Bet I'm not the only one who's partial to a bit of Nehrlich cake with their muesli.: -) Sweetingly, Gina.
How true to PHers your poem is...some of us new, some old hands, some good writers and some stink-o's. What a pleasure, a thrill it is tho' when you finally find that one true 'Gem' of a poem. Keep up the great work. Scarlett
Herbert, thank you! I've been 'here' for just over two wks. and already, this is my experience - the inbox (sigh or surprise!) , the poems (good/bad/ugly to include my own!) and sometimes to the forum. I'm new to poetry writing, so thank you for those words of wisdom at the end. (And God bless Gina! ! !)
Thank y'all for the kind words. I was especially pleased by the rare visitor. But, those visits always are inspirational. What prompted this poem was that that lovely girl from England Gina complained to me about having to go through breakfast without my usual breakfast poem. Being the accomodating kind of fellow who enjoys the imagined smiles of others.... Best wishes H
I love this Herbert! You've perfectly described our ''lives'' here at P/H. But, you're right, no matter what, if you keep looking, you'll find something that'll bring you pleasure! Great poem! Sincerely, Mary
Thanks Herbert. I suppose jewels wouldn't be precious, if you didn't have to dig under the dirt for them! Love and light Anthony
This is me all over, Herbs. Well and truly. A poem with a lot of meaning for me (and for many others, I would think) . Warm regards, Gina.
and didn't I do just the same this morning, then lighted on this life-affirming poem? Thanks, Herbert. 'A good deed in a naughty world.'
This is spot on. You sum up something I think most of us here feel. Fantastic write, thankyou. Hugs Anna xxx
