Éowyn Poem by Tristan Scully

Éowyn

Rating: 5.0

She never watched
The morning rising,
The sun riding
Above the hills,
Too busy tending
To the King,
In the shadows
Of the Hall.

But she would see
The bright sun sinking,
Darkness creeping
Across the moors,
Hope, despairing
That she would
One day
See the dawn.

What a fine poem! I think it does a splendid job defining her.
