I'd say, lets start belonging in the world! We'd belong when we feel accepted~

I wpould rather say lets start sharing our world with everyone and everything, then perhaps we can say man is great. Thought provoking poem. Bob

Greatness lies in the heart but not in the desire or mind ever!

If the power of man's mind unleashes itself in full might, it would not only own this world but perhaps create another one. Extremely inspirational.

As requested, I have read all 03 poems but commenting on this one- which has given me adequate food for thought! The title is a lesson in itself! All great Conquerors from Alexander to Hitler -have failed to win this world! The great visage of Shelley's- 'Ozymandias' lies half buried in the desert sand! I would request all to KINDLY read this small poem of Shelley! Today Dubai celebrates the inauguration of Burj Dubai to mark the 4th anniversary of their Ruler! I wish the world's tallest building was dedicated to World Peace instead! Book of Genesis tells us that God intervened to stop the building of Tower of Bable because it was built for 'the glory of man'! Let us pause to think! THANKS FOR SHARING 10! -Raj

Ownership starts from home, then the village, or town, or city, next the nation we live in, finally the world as a whole. This universal thought should come in action.

True, when we take more from the world, we have to give back atleast something to the world.

we are only as great as we imagine ourselves to be. the only one that is truly great is our creator.

I agree with you. This world is now ruled by ego. No one likes to accept the greatness of the other. If possible, he tries to do his best to undermine the greatness of the other. Let Mahatma take another birth now. Today no one accepts him and never even allows any kind of publicity to his virtues.
