Overtly Cheating And Stealing Poem by Hebert Logerie

Overtly Cheating And Stealing

There is a saying that goes that the real criminals
Are not incarcerated; they're not locked up in jail
This is true these days. They're not even out on bail
Yet, these ‘not yet convicted cheats' are in the Halls
Of Congress, in the corridors of the great Parliament
They are in charge of the budget, running things badly
While promulgating laws. This is a farce, a damn ignominy
These politicians are infected and are not in confinement
These scoundrels overtly cheat and steal; worst of all
They want to be rewarded with higher salaries and medals
It's time for the Public to revolt. We have to change the role
It's about time we see them wearing orange suits and no sandals
Barefoot, and order these slimy villains to clean our filthy streets
SCOTUS deserves more respect. Let's review all the minutes
The Constitution is not simply a few pieces of paper and documents
The Constitution is as important as the Ten Commandments
"Nobody is above the law". The lawless goon and liar must go to jail
The violent perpetrators belong in jail. Let's give them hell.
