I am gliding n' floating over the calm sea
Where there is nothing but vacancy
Before me stretches the infinite space
I am in no hurry to move in a brisk pace

This is a fantastic verse, Valsa. So much of it reminds of the Romantic poets. There's one poem that came right to mind as I concluded a first reading- -Wordsworth's A Dream. This goes directly to myfavourites.
The speck of light, that guides us in turbulant voyage of life is the Saving factor, you have dealt it with clearly. If the far off speck of light and its message is not understood, then we are doomed. Good poem.
Halfway through this poem I was gripped with fear, thank you for the ending, now prayer and hope I'll hold dear.-a 10
In every movement on this land there lies some risk and danger and real solution is hope. The poet created a nice poem which the survival is on the hope and it is nice.while reading the poem I felt that the exact episode of the boat wreck that is told in the poem which is the perfect creativity of the poetic talent and mind.
A lovely message is given through this voyage that never accept the defeat before truly being defeated .... Very nice.
Great imagery........Valsa.......A metaphor on sea of life that has waves, gales, swells, turbulence......need to be overcome to come ashore of life.......great write with fairy and fair sails.........
You put a lot of yourself in this poem as you take us on the ocean voyage. Excellent rhyme and atmosphere and i'm glad you gave it an encouraging finish.
Sea has never ending waves. Just when we think of being in calm waters another one hit. Your courage is inspiring. Enjoyed this beautiful write Valsa.
According to my belief we are a bucket of water taken from the sea and we cannot be described as sea. But when we shall be thrown back into the sea we shall become a part of sea. So if one is traveling towards the sea, one is traveling to the origin. No problem my friend we shall Insha Allah meet into the sea as good friends.
The sea of life has waves that one must meet and go through. Here you have envisaged the storm and willingly want to go through it. It is statement of your courage. Great write. Enjoyed it!
It is said, If you are once courageous, fall in love, if you are twice courageous, go to war and if you are thrice courageous, go to the sea. Madam, you are thrice courageous and the tale is very enterprising here.
Inspiring! I feel my pulse quicken! Mostly the Sea-literature and the sea-movies are about life and the impediments. It has always been used by symbolist writers as a strong hint for life...the sea is a boundless and an immense phenomenon of nature, and this is a bold task to write about the sea in bound verse like couplets or any rhyming...this poem is basically a general outline summary of the experience of life which usually we undergo that's why the voice speaking as I does not lead to any subjective approach but it is applied to all. The last stanza is quite strengthening: Now I steer my course through the sea Knowing life is never hassle free Battling with the hostile elements I am bent on conquering all impediments! A strong and strengthening poem!
Life is never hassle free Must conquer all impediments Beautiful words to quote in a wonderful poem. Thank you.
resilience is the only weapon to fight the uncertainty of life. wonderfully penned Valsa.
a fabulous message for steering through life's turbulent times, come what may!
